Terms & Conditions

1. General
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in tours operated by OTAKU hopper("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a tour, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings must be made in advance through our official website or an authorized partner.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless stated otherwise.

• Prices are listed in Japanese Yen (JPY) and may be subject to change without notice.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour will not be eligible for a refund.

• If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, or safety concerns), a full refund will be provided or an alternative date may be offered.

4. Tour Participation & Requirements

• Participants must be in good health and able to walk for an extended period.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit for the tour.

• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Any dietary restrictions or special requests should be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Liability & Responsibility

• We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.

• Participants are responsible for their own travel insurance to cover any potential risks.

• We reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour if safety is a concern.

6. Code of Conduct

• Participants must follow the guide’s instructions and respect local customs, cultural sites, and other participants.

• Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from the tour without a refund.

7. Changes to the Tour Itinerary

• The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• We will make reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent experience if changes are necessary.

8. Photography & Media

• We may take photos or videos during the tour and may publish them on our website. However, we will always obtain permission from participants before using any images or videos featuring them.

9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kyoto, Japan.
